Meet Our Team : Kevin McNair

Kevin's love for working with dogs came early in life, as his family always had a dog in the house and he would immediately take the responsibility for its training. After college graduation, he immediately bought a dog he always wanted - a German Shepherd. The desire to "do" something with his new dog and to also enjoy the outdoors led him to exploring K9 Search and Rescue, where he then joined the newly formed American Rescue Dog Association (ARDA) unit Mason-Dixon Rescue Dogs (MDRD). He immediately became hooked. He has had the opportunity to train two SAR dogs, and has trained with UK SAR teams while he lived in England for two years. Kevin has also had the privilege of performing the roles of President, Operations Leader, and Training Director during his membership with MDRD.
